Born on an Air Force base overseas and raised in several countries before settling in the United States, Patricia Lake eventually made her home in Connecticut, where she raised her family. Now based in Naples, Florida, she is drawn to character-driven stories that combine humor with serious themes, and she writes contemporary fiction that explores complex relationships, quiet turning points, and the gap between who we are and who we pretend to be. Her aim is to encourage others to dig deep and write, guiding them through the process of bringing their work into the world through self-publishing.
