PATRICIA LAKE

SELF-PUBLISHED WRITER-AUTHOR

Born on an American Air Force base in Tripoli, Libya, Patricia Lake spent her early years moving between countries before having the extraordinary opportunity to settle permanently in the United States. She eventually made her home in Connecticut, where she raised her family, built a background in finance and administration, owned her own businesses, and served on several boards, and she is now based in Naples, Florida.

Her fiction often delves into resilience, curiosity, and the quiet ways people connect across different lives and places. She is drawn to character-driven stories that combine humor with serious themes, and she writes contemporary fiction that explores complex relationships, quiet turning points, and the gap between who we are and who we pretend to be.

Patricia’s goal is to help other writers find their voices and trust their stories. Drawing on her experience in business and self-publishing, she is developing practical tools and guidance to support authors through drafting, self-editing, and confidently bringing their books into the world.
